StatSheet's CAA Player of the Week for January 30th goes to Delaware's Devon Saddler. Drexel's Damion Lee has been recognized as StatSheet CAA Freshman of the Week. Finally, Dartaye Ruffin from Drexel takes home StatSheet's CAA 6th Man of the Week.

Saddler was tops in the CAA in scoring (20.67 pts per game) and free throws (6.0 per game). He also registered 3.3 rebounds per game. The Delaware sophomore put these numbers up in a victory against Towson and losses to Northeastern and Drexel.

Saddler led scoring for the Fightin' Blue Hens with 16 points while adding 4 steals in a 62-43 win over Towson. In the next game he led all scoring with 24 points and added 2 assists in a 62-61 loss to Northeastern. Finally, Saddler led all scoring and rebounding with 22 points and 5 rebounds, closing out the week with a 71-55 loss to Drexel.

This is the first time this season that Devon Saddler has been named StatSheet CAA Player of the Week. However, he has been a runner-up once. The runner-up this week is senior Ryan Pearson from George Mason. Honorable mention goes to Samme Givens, a senior from Drexel. Jonathan Lee, who finished 20th, was the highest ranking player from Northeastern.

StatSheet CAA Freshman of the Week: Drexel's Damion Lee

Damion Lee averaged 22 minutes of playing time as a starter for Drexel. In a 64-48 win over William & Mary, Lee contributed 17 points and 6 rebounds. Then in a massive 68-46 win over Georgia State, he put up 5 points and 2 rebounds. And closing it out with a 71-55 win versus Delaware, Lee racked up 9 points and 5 rebounds.

Amazingly, Damion Lee has won the StatSheet CAA Freshman of the Week 3 times. Jarvis Threatt from Delaware grabs runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Treveon Graham from Virginia Commonwealth. Reggie Spencer was the highest ranking freshman from Northeastern and finished 4th.

StatSheet CAA 6th Man of the Week: Drexel's Dartaye Ruffin

Dartaye Ruffin, a sophomore and a 6-8 forward, played an average of 27 minutes over the three games for the Dragons. In the win against William & Mary, Ruffin led the scoring for the Dragons with 18 points and also added 3 blocked shots. Then in the victory against Georgia State, he racked up 9 points and 8 rebounds. Finally, in the win over Delaware, Ruffin put up 6 points and 5 rebounds.

This is the second time this season that Dartaye Ruffin has won the StatSheet CAA 6th Man of the Week. Jonathan Arledge, a sophomore forward from George Mason, is the runner up. Our own Kauri Black receives honorable mention. Northeastern has yet to win StatSheet CAA Player of the Week.
